Speech on 15Th August
Very good morning to the honourable chief guest, over
esteemed principal, teachers, parents, dear friends, lovely sisters and here
arrived all and sundry! Today, we have gathered here to celebrate the
Independence Day which is counted among the red[1]letter
days in the history of India. It is very auspicious and gala day for all the
Indians and who loves the country. We all the Indians became free from the slavery
of Britishers on 15th August, 1947. After independence, we got our
all-fundamental rights to our own nation. Today, we must salute those martyrs
who sacrificed their everything for the sake of our motherland. It was the time
when our ancestors had been suffering from the tortures of British and the
British-rule. They were so rude that our ancestors couldn’t tolerate their
physical and mental pains. Therefore, they raise an agitation against the
British and their intolerable rules. The revolution started from the year of
1857 by the great Indian revolutionary named ‘Mangal Pandey’. After a long
struggle, we achieved our freedom in 1947. Friends, it is a matter of great
sorrow that some of us show the formalities on this very day. They only enjoy
themselves like a common festival. This is not fair at all. Today, it is a day
of awaking and to be united. We don’t have to fight ourselves on religions,
creed or casteism. We all have equal rights to protect our motherland from the
enemies. Friends, no service is greater than country the service With these
words, I end my speech. Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! Bande Matram! Thank you!
